Hi! I’m Elizabeth Bentley, a senior at Poudre High School. I am of the belief that we are what we consume and experience. From a young age, I have loved absorbing media of all types: music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, art, and more, and as I've matured, I've noticed how much these pieces have affected not only me as a person but also my perception of other pieces of art. Part of the allure of art and media has always been its ability to transport the reader/viewer/listener to a different dimension. As the artist draws the consumer in, it puts them in a different headspace to try to truly understand what the artist(s) meant with their piece, or what their purpose was in making it. Personally, I really feel that this helps me to better understand the world around me. This blog is going to act as a way to document the films and movies that I have seen and collect my thoughts on them.
